Around the world with #FHIR: New Zealand

At the recent HL7 Working Group Meeting in Montreal, I asked Dr. David Hay about any FHIR activities in New Zealand. So many countries nowadays are implementing FHIR for their interoperability projects, it is hard to keep track.

David Hay is the man to ask about New Zealand. He is Chair of HL7 New Zealand, and a member of the FHIR Core Team. David takes the clinician’s perspective. After all, he is a clinician himself and coordinator of the HL7 Clinical Connectathons during the Working Group Meetings. In Montreal 40 people showed up at his meeting! What does a clinician need to know about FHIR, you might wonder. David explains.
